About Me
I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 16 years - graduating from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences in 2008. In 1994, I graduated from Manhattan College, earning a B.S. degree in Physical Education/Exercise Science. In addition to being a massage therapist, I am also a personal trainer, doing so for the last 30 years. Always seeking ways to improve my skills and increase my knowledge, I regularly take continuing education courses. This includes participation in a mentorship program at the Gray Institute, The Leader in Functional Movement, under physical therapist Gary Gray. My specialty is working with clients who suffer from Neck and Shoulder Pain, Upper Body Postural Issues, and Back Pain . Techniques used include, therapeutic massage, cupping therapy, deep tissue, myofascial release, and swedish massage. Whether you need work on an area of chronic pain, injury, or just a relaxing massage, I would be happy and honored to work with you.
